There will be a lecture about Pigeon Fever and other horse health topics given by a UC Davis veterinarian, on May 13th (Wednesday) at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held at Frizelle-Enos Co in Sebastopol, and I believe is free to the public.
As many of you recall, Sonoma County was hit hard by Pigeon Fever this past year, and from what I hear we may see an increase because of the unusual weather patterns we've been experiencing.
If you have any questions, call Frizelle-Enos at (707)823-6404. The address is 265 Petaluma Ave., Sebastopol.

This was a really good talk; the vet who spoke must be the world's expert on Pigeon Fever. She is a really good lecturer.
F-E's also provided free dinner with the lecture! I wasn't expecting it but what a treat ... and I won a door prize of a leather cleaning kit ... way cool!
